I, Sam, have recently discovered that some professors possess that unique skill which allows them to turn something horrendous, like a final exam, into something hilarious. For example, my Anthropology professor had a few silly questions on his exam today:
If you see an Ebu Gogo, a Yeti, Bigfoot, or Chupacabra, do you
A. Stop and gawk
B. Hightail it to the nearest city and contact the local authorities
C. Run the bugger over, shove it in your trunk, and take it to the nearest university
D. Take it home and make it watch "The Biggest Loser" as a form of torture
The correct answer was C. Needless to say, you could tell when various students got to that question because there were giggles, snorts, chuckles, coughs covering chuckles, etc. The Biggest Loser was a trend in todays exam. For example, silly answers were things like, C. because Neanderthals could out eat the fattest man on Biggest Loser, or B. H. Sapiens for inventing that horrendously inane show, the Biggest Loser. And so on and so forth. I, for one, found the funny tidbits amusing and felt it helped lift the mood. . .as well as narrowed the answers.
Alas, I can write no more at the moment, for another exam and the tail end of a four page research paper call.
